Winter in the Hotel Seppl |
Snow in the Pitztal Valley is just not an issue.
The Pitztal Glacier (Austria's highest glacier ski region: up to 3,400 m) guarantees snow and fun on the slopes regardless of the weather. Austria's highest cable car also takes you up to the white slopes quickly and comfortably.
Children under the age of 10 accompanied by an adult are given a Special Bambini FREE Pass at all the lifts.
From the end of November onwards, there is fun to be had for all the family on the slopes of the family-friendly Rifflsee ski resort. Skiers' hearts beat faster on slopes of all levels of difficulty. Our "Pitztaler Schihütte" right next to the valley run is the ideal meeting place for all ski and snowboard enthusiasts and winter hikers. You can get to all events in the comfort of our hut taxi. Après-ski parties, Alpine hut parties with live music, Tyrolean evenings with a Tyrolean speciality buffet, followed by a toboggan run down to the valley, are just some of the highlights we offer exclusively to our hotel guests.
The free ski bus for hotel guests (stops at the hotel) takes you to all winter sport attractions in comfort. Perfectly groomed cross-country ski runs (skating and classic) that run directly past the hotel, toboggan runs and winter hiking trails are an attractive and atmospheric addition to the winter experience… The 1st Pitztal snowshoe trail invites you to take a magical winter hike through the Taschachschlucht (gorge), followed by a Glühwein stop at the Pitztaler Schihütte.
The Pitztal is known all over the world as a true Eldorado for ice climbers. Over 50 frozen waterfalls, the Glacier World Ice Arena on the Pitztal Glacier (2,700 m) and the world's highest artificial ice tower ("Big Ben" in Mandarfen) invite you to get to know more about the fascination of climbing vertical ice. |
