The Wildspitzbahn cable car

Fast, comfortable, extraordinary and panoramic – this is probably how best to describe the new Wildspitzbahn cable car.

Austria’s highest and most advanced cable car – the new Wildspitzbahn & Café 3.440 – are Tyrol’s latest highlight.

In just six minutes, the new 8-seater gondola takes you from 2,800 to over 3,400 metres to the Hintere Brunnenkogel peak. The two stations have an impressive modern design and architecture which blends with nature.

Once at the summit, you can visit the highest café in the Eastern Alps – Café 3.400 – which offers stunning panoramic views of the mountain peaks all around. Over a coffee and piece of home-made cake, you can enjoy the unique vista of Tyrol’s highest mountain – the Wildspitze – as well as the surrounding 3,000 metre peaks in Austria’s highest café.
